Lord Epoxy Structural Adhesives

Description

All Lord epoxy structural adhesives are 100% reactive, two-component, structural adhesives which can be cured completely at room temperature. To obtain a faster cure and higher shear strengths they can be cured at elevated temperatures.

The general purpose epoxies in the adhesive line offer a range of viscosities to accommodate a variety of bonding situations. In addition, the mix ratios can be modified to optimize the performance at service temperature or maximize the adhesive's performance under peel or shear loading.

The modified epoxies are based on proprietary, Lord chemistry and were originally developed for primer less adhesion to structural composites for the automotive industry. They have been tested and approved for automotive specifications. They provide superior environmental resistance, high shear and peel strength, resistance to cracking, and handling strength at elevated temperatures.

Shelf life of most Lord adhesives is one year from date of shipment from the manufacturer, when transported and stored at 40ºF - 80ºF (4ºC - 27ºC) in the original, unopened container.
