The new Semco^® hybrid syringe is uniquely designed to fit standard equipment, provides air-free filling, and has an easy to install and remove tip cap that seals on three surfaces. The Semco hybrid syringe can also be used in manual applications as well as with automated dispensing equipment.

Barrel
The Semco Hybrid Syringe (SHS) barrel is uniquely designed with a radiused neck to eliminate air entrapment during the syringe filling process. Another distinctive feature is its universal flange which fits standard equipment.

Pistons
Three types of pistons are available for use with the SHS - a non-interference fitting P-piston required for automated machine applications, a light interference fitting wiper piston, and a manual wiper piston for use with the standard manual plunger. Each piston is molded from polyethylene and meets the rigid requirements of high tech industries.

Patented Tip Cap
Our patented tip cap seals on three surfaces of the syringe and is designed for easy installation and removal.

Flange Cap
The interlocked tamper-evident flange cap is designed for easy removal by a pull ring, allowing the user to determine if the cap has been previously removed. For applications that do not require a piston, the tamper-evident cap can be used to hold liquid materials packaged in the SHS.
