Lord 510
Acrylic Adhesive for Bonding Noryl® and Thermoplastics

Description
Lord
® 510 is a rigid, fast curing, heat resistant acrylic adhesive for bonding thermoplastics and Noryl®.

Features and Benefits
No-Mix System -
reduces cost, eliminates waste, and minimizes time and labor. Resulting bond improves product performance and reliability.

Fast Curing and Energy Efficient - cures rapidly at room temperature, and conserves energy by eliminating the need for curing ovens.

Wide Temperature Range - performs in temperatures ranging from -40°C to 121°C (-40°F to 250°F).

Bonds Noryl - bonds General Electric's Noryl to itself and most other substrates.

Using Lord 510 Acrylic Adhesive
No-Mix System —
Dip, spray, roll or brush Lord Accelerator 4 on one or both surfaces. The optimum bond line thickness is 127 - 254 microns (5 - 10 mils). If the bond line is less than 127 microns (5 mils), accelerator application to one substrate is usually sufficient. For bond lines of 381 - 1524 microns (15 - 60 mils), coat both substrates. If the bond line is greater than 1524 microns (60 mils), the mix-in system must be used. The adhesive resin may be applied as soon as the accelerator is dry which is approximately one minute at 24°C (75°F), or up to several weeks thereafter. Store parts after coating with accelerator in a clean, dry area without exposure to UV light or temperatures of 24°C (75° F).
