Description
Lord® Accelerator 19 Black is a mix-in curative designed to be utilized with acrylic
adhesive resins. This curative has a mix ratio of either 2:1 or 4:1 by volume. Both mix
ratios are convenient for use with meter/mix/dispense equipment, or prepackaged
Lord-Pak cartridge systems.
Features and Benefits
Convenient Cure Properties - Lord Accelerator 19 Black can be used with all Lord acrylic resin systems and is designed to cure at room temperature. Maximum properties can be obtained with a modest post cure heat exposure. For post cure time and temperature suggestions, consult the product bulletin for the specific acrylic adhesive resin.
Easy to Use - The 2:1 or 4:1 mix ratios of this curative can be more easily regulated than previous 10:1 and 20:1 systems.
Contains No Solvent - 100% solids content, it is solventless, nonflammable, and virtually odorless.
Clean up - Clean up may be achieved with soap and hot water prior to adhesive cure.
Proven Environmental Resistance - When used with Lord acrylic adhesive resins, the resulting bond resists common environmental conditions. Lord Accelerator 19 Black improves the high temperature resistance of Lord 200 and 500 series adhesives.
Proper Mixing
Mix-in - Confirm the proper mix ratio by consulting the technical
bulletin for the Lord adhesive resin. Thoroughly mix the proper amount of resin and
accelerator components until uniform in color and consistency. Be careful not to whip
excessive air into the adhesive.
