SEMCO Pasa-Jell 105 and 105-M
bond enhancement on aluminum alloys
Use
To improve the metal bond adhesions of aluminum alloy.

Description
Semco Pasa-Jell 105 and 105-M are blends of acids, activators, and inhibitors designed to provide a balanced ratio of compounds to maintain the effectiveness of etch rate.

Semco Pasa-Jell 105 is inorganically thickened to permit application in localized areas. Semco Pasa-Jell 105-M does not contain the inorganic thickener permitting immersion of large surfaces.

Improvement of bond strength is based on surface activation which provides a receptive surface for adhesion.

Semco Pasa-Jell 105 and 105-M chemically clean and activate the surface to provide improved chemical bonding of the adhesive. The etch life of Semco Pasa-Jell 105 and 105-M is approximately 125 to 250 square feet of surface per quart.
