Pro-Seal 870 Corrosion Inhibitive Sealant
Discription:
P/S 870 is a corrosion inhibitive two-part, manganese dioxide cured polysulfide sealant. It has a service temperature range from -65°F (-54°C) to 250°F (121°C), with intermittent excursions up to 275°F (135°C). This material acts as an effective barrier against the common causes of corrosion on aluminum alloys or between dissimilar metals. The cured sealant maintains elastomeric properties after limited exposure to both jet fuel and aviation gas.
Class A
P/S 870 Class A uncured material is suitable for application by brush in thickness up to 25 mils
Class B
P/S 870 Class B uncured material is a low sag, thixotropic paste suitable for application by extrusion gun or spatula.
